THE SUN’S LANGUAGE

Non-verbal communication during pandemic, where each movement by hand means a unique code between a strong relationship.

- mother and daughter

This performance examines the impact of a pandemic on a human social behaviour. I was exploring the evolution of language and signs we are using. The differences between common signs used with the relationship of someone who is close to us, and signs used with random people. This leads to a performative experience of communication between me and my mother. White fabric symbolises the light and performers acts upon merging and scattering with the light particles. The present of the being of the individual is questionable.
